Senior BI Admin Contract - Long Term Seattle, Washington We are seeking a competent BI Administrator with MS Power BI and Tableau experience for a long-term contract with our direct client. The right candidate will have proven success providing administration on large Power BI and Tableau environments. Position Function and Duties ​ The position is on a Dev/Ops team that has a rotating on-call schedule. The admin will work troubleshooting user issues and work with the development team promoting content from dev-stage-prod. Technical Qualifications: ​ 5+ years’ experience as an administration of Business Intelligence tools. 5+ years’ experience performing admin functions with MS Power BI and Tableau with multi-node environments Add/Remove/Change users access and permissions to data and reporting elements. Managing User groups Configuration and Architecture knowledge of Power BI Server connecting to various types of source data components. Knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, pass-through authentication. Base level knowledge of SQL Server and Analysis Services DBA skills. Good SQL skills Base level knowledge of network topology and security concepts. Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery as it pertains to BI systems. Azure and Power BI embedded knowledge is a plus. Understanding of REST API Business Objects administration is a plus.
